The foundations of a now successful marketing business rests on the creation of Johan Pieters Promosies some thirteen years ago – a small business concept of which Johan was sole proprietor. Today, the business will be celebrating its 14th year as Champ Marketing and Travel – a fully fledged close corporation that is VAT and BEE registered.

It is hard to imagine that with all Johan and Christo has achieved in this short thirteen years in the marketing world, these Champs are young and dynamic and they shows no signs slowing down. Numerous concepts, plans and strategies are already swirling around in that brains of them for the next promotional event they are scheming.

Johan & Christo firmly believes in keeping up to date with the latest trends in marketing, sport and promotions and for this reason Johan completed a one year course through GMIT ( a business college in Johannesburg) and Christo completed a BA MBW degree and a NGOS, Diploma in Education – North West University. Christo achieved distinctions in Sport and Recreation Management and Science Learning.

Champ’s track record in organizing spectacular launches and promotional events, speaks for itself. Many will remember the fantastic Stucky Motors launches, Amajuba Mall Opening, ABSA Private Bank Opening, Century Casino Opening, Waterside Engen & Wimpy events, Arcelor Mittal Golf Day’s and their involvement in the East Coast Radio Winter Warmth.

Johan & Christo are firm believers in supporting local business. Many of the smaller businesses they co-opt for important events are black empowered.

Champ, according to Johan & Christo, can assist new businesses with their marketing strategies that falls within their budgets, which they believe is essential if they are to be successful.
